Yahoo! News - Kasparov, Computer Tie in Chess Match

Man vs. Machine: Draw

Poor Garry Kasparov. He's become a sideshow in his quest to maintain the superiority of man over machine. The fact of the matter is, computers can be better than people at certain things, like long calculations and taking measurements. However, I doubt a computer could thoughtfully craft a response to a riddle that drew on an oblique category association. Who knows though. I haven't been keeping up on AI research since my subscription to Wired expired.
