Despite some concern that clouds would obscure the view, last night's lunar eclipse was completely visible. Incidentally, that was your last chance to see a full lunar eclipse until 2010. When I mentioned that to friends, several said something along the lines of "Wow. I'd better check it out then, who knows if I'll even be around in 2010!"
It does seem odd that we're almost at the end of this first decade of this century, doesn't it?
Even more weird, to me, is the fact that the Navy shot down that old satellite.
